I am sure most of you experienced this when you were optimizing your pages.  It is definitely a painful experience (and time-consuming!) since you have to fill in thousands of forms with your email address.  As a result, I got a million spam mails and I nearly shut down my email account.

Google announced ‘secretly’ by saying that directories are no longer valuable for SEO.    And it is true.

I used to submit my new websites to 2 online directories, and usually I would be rewarded in my PageRank.  However, the story goes to an end since the announcement and so I have to optimize the pages in another way.

Guys, don’t waste time on directories from now.  (Although I am still the dmoz lover)
